Reflections on Science Videos
A unique video series that enables scientists and communicators to present the science that they find exciting

Science Videos recorded in 1998.  Hosted by Mike Bullivant, a scientist from the Open University, this novel and exciting science video series enables a small group (approximately 6), including school children, graduates and senior scientists such as Harry Kroto, John Cornforth, Susan Greenfield , Margaret Boden, Amand Lucas and David Miller to probe important scientific and technological concepts with a world leading expert on a particular topic.  Science Video topics include nanotechnology, creativity and computers, electricity and magnetism, the brain, left and right-handedness, space, the oceans and the structure of DNA.

There Ain`t Nothing Nowhere - David Miller There Ain`t Nothing Nowhere: `From virtual photons to Higg`s particles` by David Miller - Science Video

Video recorded in 1998. David Miller.  With his innate ability to explain the most abstract and complex concepts of modern physics in accessible terms David Miller convinces even the most sceptical that "empty space" is teeming with a new cast of fundamental characters from virtual photons to Higg`s particles all lurking in the space that we call the vacuum.

This unique series enables outstanding scientists and communicators to present the science that they themselves find exciting.  These programmes are based on a top-down philosophy which presents the science in an accessible form and whets the appetite of the budding scientist to seek deeper understanding of Nature and the Physical world.
